Today’s devotional challenge for our class in Thessalonica was on our walk through the huge Roman baths Complex under St. Demetrius Church. Paul wrote to this church from Corinth on his Second Missionary Journey. They faced persecution right from the start. That is why they were such a vibrant and fruitful assembly. Do you run from all pain, trouble, persecution, and afflictions? Most people do. When God is sending troubles to help us grow, and help us get focused—then we are RUNNING FROM GOD.
