Bonnie & I finally got to share in public what we have been studying in our small group as we teach the Bible as missionaries. In the years since we launched into training the NextGeneration, our personal support group has been a weekly Bible study we shared with a special group of students we met with where ever we were each week.
That group encouraged, supported, and prayed for us for the past two years.
Now, all those studies we shared are our joy to start to teach in Bible Conferences around the USA this summer. Here is the very first message we got to share last week at the Winter Bible Conference at Word of Life Florida.
What a BLESSING!
7 years ago (2015) as Bonnie & I were preparing to head off to the mission field, I was asked by a fellow at Starbucks to disciple him and his 7 friends. He said they had excelled at business and life, but had come to the point they all felt it was time to get āreally serious about following the Lordā.
What an invitation. For the next two years, I met each week with those 8 men and surveyed the entire Bible using the Devotional Bible Study Method.
We covered every major doctrine, each branch of Systematic Theology, all 24 attributes of God, and the framework of Godās Word.
It was the most thrilling, profitable, and transforming Bible Study Iād ever been a part of. I also started teaching pieces of these lessons as classes in Bible Institutes and Conferences around the world.
But this week is the very first 52GC Bible Conference, and we are doing 6 of the 52 Lessons as we gather.
