1āGOD HATES RELIGION: Revelation 17-18āGod pours out His wrath on both false religion (ch. 17), and worldliness (ch. 18). In Revelation 17 we find the collapse of the apostate worldās church. In the process, we see Satanās harlot bride: the delusion of religion. From Eden onward, Satan has been building his church. Although Adam & Eve were tempted and fell into sin, they never joined the old serpentās assembly. Cain was Satanās first member (1 John 3:12), and that church has flourished ever since.
