John 8:31-36 (NKJV) Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, āIf you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.ā 33 They answered Him, āWe are Abrahamās descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, āYou will be made freeā?ā 34 Jesus answered them, āMost assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
Since we do not have a break where we all walk around and talk, then the usual one-on-one talks canāt happen. In every class I teach, I have young men come up to me, and young women come to my wife and ask how to overcome sins that have enslaved them: fear, lust, materialism, and pride. M ā Move into a useful activity away from idleness and other vulnerable behaviors.
